Monday Blues

I've already experienced a few bumps in the road today. Who would have known that trying to finish a paper would be so hard? The school library is absolutely packed because of finals. The local libraries are closed on Mondays. I drove downtown to the main library, only to find a line for the computers. I am finally back at home using my roomie's computer. Bleh! I just want to get this paper over and done with. Thank god I did some of it last week :)

Results of this weekend:
1. I watched a million movies and lots of sex and the city episodes. It was so nice and so relaxing!
2. I finally bought some nude pumps (pictured above) from Target. So happy with this purchase! I've been dying to purchase a pair but the steve madden ones are just are too expensive right now. There were tons of gorgeous shoes at Target. Might have to do a little shopping spree soon!
3. I got another interview on Wednesday. Yay! I think this one is going to go really well because of my experience. But I do dislike group interviews. My last interview? Wasn't really an interview. It turns out my availability didn't match their needs. And to top it off it was so far away! I can't commute 40 minutes to work, its just too far.
4. Went to look at a townhouse and was in love! It was beautiful, but the layout was just a little weird. So the search for our new place continues. I am starting to get a little nervous since the weeks are really winding down.

5 Thoughts

1. I have 9 more days of class left. And will be done with finals in 3 weeks. So excited for summer & I can't believe its almost here. I can taste it on my lips :)
2. Today was a beautiful nice sunny day and is getting me all sorts of excited for summer.
3. Barcelona alllll the way, just sayin' :)
4. Having a stuffy nose and not being able to taste food is not cool. Not cool.
5. I've been looking for a second summer job. I think it might be worth it to just work my tail off this summer in order to live in Paris next summer, and get myself all moved in and prepared for wherever I may live after college.

music monday

I've been a fan on maroon 5 for years now, which says a lot since they are outside of my usual genre of music. But man can these boys make some good music, and Adam Levine has an amazing voice. Did I mention that he is easy on the eyes? I've seen them in concert once (2 years ago) and would love to see them in concert again someday.  This video is for their song Never Gonna leave this bed. I love the song and the video concept is great. I want to know how they managed to stay serious with all the people gawking at them and snapping pictures. Madness! As soon I start working again I need to purchase their album along with Adele's 21 album.

Going to keep this entry short and sweet as I have to squeeze in quick nap and sleep before its back to the library for a 6 hour study session. Here some thoughts on my mind this Monday:

1. Been debating about possibly changing my career goals post-graduation. But I need to do some more research later this week. I'll write more about this once I find out more specific details.
2. Played around with super expensive microscopes in biochem lab today (one was $400,000 and the other was $500,00). Glad I was not accident prone today ;D
3.  Forgot about this since its been a busy weekend.....but in two weeks from now I will be on a ship and close to Mexico
4. The time change has definitely thrown me off, but I'm reading for spring and sunshine :)
